An update on our first sailings

Based on the recent CLIA extension of the voluntary suspension of sailings through October 31st, 2020, our first four sailings have been impacted — and we’ll be working closely with our Sailors and First Mates to provide the most fair and flexible cancellation options out there.

We understand that while this update only impacts a few sailings, this is disappointing news to those of you who were so excited to set sail. We were, too. But we’re committed to doing what’s best for our Sailors, and we’ll only head out to sea when we believe the time is right.

Our Crew is continuing to keep an eye on developments related to this extension and various other travel restrictions. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be working on any impact this may have to our upcoming sailing season, and we’ll be sure to share any updates with our Sailors and First Mates.

Please rest assured that the safety and security of our Crew and Sailors is our number one priority. With that in mind, we’ve implemented enhanced health measures across the entire voyage process, and will continue to add to our policies and procedures as the science around them evolves. You can check out our full Voyage Well plan, here.

As always, our Sailors and First Mates remain our top priority and we are so, so grateful for your continued love and support for Virgin Voyages. We can’t wait to finally get out on the water with you.

(It will be oh-so worth it)
